José Narciso is a Brazilian artist whose work lives at the intersection of imagination, nostalgia, and color. Raised among animals, forests, and a strong cultural heritage, his early environment shaped a deep sensitivity to beauty and storytelling. Coming from a family where art was always present on the walls, he learned to see images as vessels for memory, emotion, and lived experience.
In recent works, his practice explores a visual language informed by the aesthetics of the internet. Stretched drawings, distorted forms, and elements drawn from commercial design are reimagined through a fresh and refined lens. Each piece unfolds as a dialogue between harmony and tension, between what is remembered and what is newly invented.
In 2021, he presented his first solo exhibition at Galeria Savta in Brasília. His work has since been featured in group exhibitions in Seoul, Milan, and New York, expanding an ongoing conversation between cultures, mediums, and the emotional power of color.
